Sacramento's longest running open mic prioritizing Queer, Trans Folks, Women and BIPOC.
Sign-ups are at 7:00pm and the comedy starts promptly at 7:30pm!

The Lavender Library’s Other Mic Night is hosted by Sacramento’s own Xavier Bettencourt. This event occurs every third Wednesday of the month.

More about this event: The Other Mic is created and run by community comics to create more opportunities and space for those that have ever felt like they had to check "other" whenever people asked about gender or sexual identity and race. This is a place where folks who have either never tried stand-up before or they are just working out material for their next special. Priority sign-ups go to queer & trans folks, women, and people of color. Allies are welcome!!
