Queer Harm Reduction Series

  • Lavender Library 1414 21st Street Sacramento, CA, 95811 United States (map)

From poppers to parTies, queer people have unique drug and sex cultures. These cultures are rarely represented in public education curriculums, and it can be hard to find accurate and stigma free information.

In this series, join Sacramento harm reduction workers and many special guests to explore how queer people can support themselves and each other when using drugs, having sex, injecting HRT, seeking gender affirming care, and engaging in sex work. Our discussions will include harm reduction principles, historical context, and practical risk reduction tools.
